American evangelicals, who were a key electoral pillar for Donald Trump, have already begun evaluating potential candidates for the 2028 presidential election. Currently, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio holds the advantage among religious conservatives, Politico reports, according to UNN.

A segment of influential evangelicals views Rubio as a politician capable of uniting MAGA supporters and traditional Republicans. At the same time, Vice President JD Vance maintains support among younger conservatives.
