According to the head of the Pentagon, this is one of the key conditions for the truce, although official Tehran has not publicly announced such obligations.
Under the terms, any nuclear materials they should not have will be removed
Hegseth also emphasized that the US will not allow Iran to acquire nuclear weapons.
The President has been clear from the beginning – Iran will not have nuclear weapons. Period. Other presidents talked about it, and President Trump did it
At the same time, US President Donald Trump previously stated that Washington is ready to cooperate with Iran to remove stockpiles of enriched uranium, which were targets of US strikes.
According to Hegseth, the American side expects Iran to hand over these materials voluntarily.
We will get them, we will take them and remove them. Or, if necessary, we will do it ourselves, as was the case during Operation Midnight Hammer. We still have that capability
