Ukraine's Defense Minister said that he and the Commander-in-Chief briefed the U.S. Secretary of Defense in detail on the current situation on the battlefield and the consequences of Russia's recent attacks on Ukrainian cities and civilian infrastructure. Umerov once again emphasized the importance and need for Ukrainian defenders to have air defense systems and missiles.
