At a conference in Warsaw, Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko called on partners to increase support for Ukraine's energy system in the winter. Ukraine is working with the IAEA to protect nuclear facilities from enemy attacks.

At an international conference, Energy Minister Herman Galushchenko listed problems in the energy infrastructure sector due to Russia's aggression in Ukraine, but promised to work to secure nuclear power facilities.

The Minister of Energy used his speech at an international conference to call on the international community, including Ukrainian partners, to intensify support for Ukraine during the winter. 

We expect that the volume of technical and financial assistance to our power system will increase in winter, the most difficult period

 - said German Galushchenko during his speech at the international conference ReBuild Ukraine Construction and Energy in Warsaw.

The minister thanked the Ukrainian military and air defense forces, but also said that “together with international partners, including the IAEA,” Ukraine is working to “maximize the security of nuclear energy facilities from enemy attacks.
