Ukraine has developed the Ratel Deminer remote demining system capable of detecting and defusing anti-personnel mines such as PFM-1, PMN-4, PMN-3 and PMN-2, which has already been tested for humanitarian demining near Sviatohirsk.

Ukraine has developed a remote demining complex Ratel Deminer, which is capable of neutralizing infantry mines. This was announced by the Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov on his Telegram channel, UNN reports .

Details

Ratel Deminer is a mine trawler that detects and neutralizes anti-personnel mines. It operates remotely, which means it saves lives of the military

According to him, the complex is equipped with a daytime vision camera, which helps to better control it. Ratel Deminer destroys mines of the PFM-1, PMN-4, PMN-3 and PMN-2 types.

He also said that the developers have already tested Ratel Deminer in real conditions - the system was used for humanitarian demining from anti-personnel mines near Sviatohirsk, Donetsk region.

Ratel Deminer received the BRV1 status, which means that the development has been prioritized for the Security and Defense Forces. Now the complex is being finalized and its capacity is being increased
