It is noted that the discussion of plans to increase trade between the two countries took place during a video meeting between First Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko and Vice President, Minister of Development, Industry, Trade and Services of Brazil Geraldo Rodrigues Alcimn Filho.
During the meeting, the Ukrainian side presented opportunities for Brazilian business to cooperate with Ukrainian entrepreneurs.
We agreed that our governments will intensify the deepening of mutually beneficial economic cooperation and work to increase trade between Ukraine and Brazil. We have similar views on the range of products in which trade should be increased,
According to her, sustainable economic growth, even against the backdrop of the war against Russia, as well as Ukraine's status as an EU candidate country, opens up good prospects for foreign investors to enter European markets.
During the conversation, Yulia Svyrydenko also invited Brazilian representatives to a high-level conference aimed at achieving peace in Ukraine to be held on June 15-16 in Switzerland, and invited Brazilian business to participate in the International Conference on Ukraine's Recovery to be held on June 11-12 in Berlin.

In January, Ukraine and Brazil at the level of foreign ministers discussed progress in implementing Ukraine's "Formula for Peace" and working with Switzerland to organize a Global Peace Summit, as well as launching trade and economic projects.
