Two people injured in Sumy region due to Russian attacks; dozens of buildings damaged in Shostka

Two people were wounded due to UAV attacks in the Sumy region. In Shostka, 17 high-rise buildings, infrastructure facilities, and a number of civilian structures were damaged.

In the Sumy region, two civilians were injured as a result of Russian drone attacks, with residential buildings, critical infrastructure facilities, and civilian structures damaged. This was reported by the State Emergency Service and the Sumy region police, according to UNN.

According to rescuers, an enemy drone struck a residential sector in Shostka. As a result of the strike, a private house caught fire, and there was a threat of the fire spreading to neighboring structures. Due to the risk of repeated attacks, rescuers were forced to temporarily suspend operations; however, all fire sources were later extinguished.
17 high-rise buildings damaged in Shostka
In the Shostka community, a 78-year-old man was injured as a result of a drone attack. Critical infrastructure facilities, two shops, a car wash, a bus station building, an enterprise, a pharmacy, educational institutions, three private houses, two cars, and 17 apartment buildings were also damaged.
In addition, a Russian drone struck a car in the Krasnopillia community. A 58-year-old man was wounded as a result of the attack. The building of a forestry enterprise and a car were also damaged, and one private house was destroyed.
Investigative teams and explosives experts worked at the strike sites. Law enforcement officers documented the consequences of the attacks and collected evidence for the investigation of Russian war crimes.
