Trump did not disclose the topic of the upcoming speech, and the White House has not yet commented on the announcement. Meanwhile, the TV channel MS Now, citing anonymous sources in the administration, reported that the president may dedicate the speech to recently released intelligence documents regarding the alleged interference of foreign states in the 2020 presidential election.
After the 2020 election, Trump repeatedly claimed that he had won, although the official winner was Democratic Party candidate Joe Biden. The last time the U.S. president addressed the nation was in April, when he explained the motives for the American military operation against Iran.
