The Kremlin threatened to strike Kyiv "every day and every night" in response to attacks on Ozon

The Kremlin stated that Russian troops would continue striking Kyiv, calling this a response to attacks by Ukrainian drones on warehouses of the Russian marketplace Ozon and other commercial infrastructure facilities. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin's spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, as reported by UNN, citing Russian media.

According to Peskov, the Russian side intends to continue striking the Ukrainian capital.

"Responses are felt in Kyiv every day and every night, and they will continue to feel them," the Kremlin spokesman said.

He also claims that strikes on commercial facilities in Russia allegedly do not allow the Ukrainian military to influence the situation on the front.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin said in an interview with Russian propagandist Pavel Zarubin that Ukraine was allegedly trying to harm the Russian economy and had "opened Pandora's box."

"Well then, you will receive a response targeting your most sensitive sectors of the economy, which, frankly speaking, are already on their last legs. This, by the way, also applies to agricultural production, from the export of which the Kyiv regime receives its main revenues," Putin said.

At the same time, the Russian president called the strikes on facilities in Ukrainian cities "effective" and "timely."

The statements by Russia's leadership came amid attacks by Ukrainian drones on Russian logistics and commercial infrastructure, including Ozon marketplace warehouses.

The Prosecutor General's Office notified Russia's Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov of suspicion in connection with the attack on Kyiv on July 2, 2026. Twenty civilians were killed and 32 were injured.
