On August 6, new temperature records were recorded in 13 regions of Ukraine. In Kyiv and Rivne, thermometers reached 39° above zero.

According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, the daily maximum temperatures on August 6 in some regions once again exceeded their previous historical record values for this date.
According to data from meteorological stations, the increases ranged from 0.7 to 4.3°.
The top five were:
- Kyiv - +39°;
- Rivne - +39°;
- Mykolaiv - +38.8°;
- Lutsk - +38.6°;
- Uzhhorod - +38.4°.
