Russians carried out nighttime attacks using "shaheeds" in an attempt to damage infrastructure and civilians, but Ukrainian air defense systems shot down 20 drones in different regions.

The Russians do not stop terrorizing, they continue drone attacks using Shahed 131/136 drones. The trajectory of the drones' flight indicates that the enemy is trying to damage infrastructure and harm civilians as much as possible. This was stated by Natalia Humeniuk, head of the Joint Coordination Press Center of the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine, during a telethon, UNN reports .

"We see that the enemy does not stop terror, continues drone attacks using Shahed 131/136 drones. Their trajectory and geography, particularly in our operational area, indicate that the enemy is trying to damage infrastructure and harm civilians as much as possible. Three drones were destroyed in Dnipropetrovs'k region, three in Mykolaiv region, two in Kherson region and one in Odesa region. The enemy continues to put pressure on the infrastructure that keeps the economy in good shape," said Humeniuk.

She noted that, unfortunately, the fragments of the downed drone in Odesa region damaged a private household and cut a power line, but repairs are underway and the power is coming back on. She also added that no people were injured and there were no hits.

"This high performance is due to the fact that we carefully monitor enemy attacks, analyze them and see the trajectory of drone launches. But I want to remind you that even combat work can cause such damage. Therefore, it is imperative to take cover," added Humeniuk.
