A 16-year-old teenager got lost while climbing Mount Khomyak. He was found on a mountain pasture, and his condition is satisfactory, UNN reports with reference to the State Emergency Service.
On April 20, mountain rescuers found a 16-year-old boy who got lost while climbing Mount Khomyak. He was discovered on the "Khomyakivka" mountain pasture and escorted to the village of Polyanytsia, where his relatives were waiting. The teenager's condition is satisfactory.
The report of the disappearance was received at 4:35 PM from a resident of Novovolynsk. According to her, around 3:00 PM, her son reported that he had gotten lost during the ascent, after which communication with him was lost.
Rescuers from Vorokhta and Yaremche, as well as the police, were involved in the search — a total of 12 people and 5 units of equipment.
