Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi met in Kyiv with the newly appointed Commander of the Danish Defense Forces, General Michaela Viggers Hildgaard, to discuss the urgent needs and further support of Ukraine's defense efforts.

General Michael Viggers Hildgaard, the newly appointed Commander of the Danish Defense Forces, visited Kyiv. Since the first day of the full-scale invasion, Denmark has been on the side of Ukraine, on the side of defending democracy and freedom 

- Syrsky said. 

According to him, during the meeting they will discuss the urgent needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in various areas and ways and possibilities for further support from the Danish government.

The Commander-in-Chief also thanked the Danish government and people for their systematic support of the Ukrainian army.
