Sybiha called the European Union's initiative a "strong signal" and emphasized its timeliness.
"This is a timely and long-awaited step that will show every Russian that by signing a contract to participate in the criminal aggressive war against Ukraine, they are simultaneously signing an entry ban to Europe for themselves."
He emphasized that such a policy is fair.
"If you are fighting to harm Europe and European states, you have no right to enter them,"
The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine called on all European Union member states to support this initiative.
"I call on all EU member states to support this extremely important measure,"
The EU initiative envisages strengthening restrictions against individuals involved in Russia's aggression and is considered part of broader sanctions pressure on Moscow.
