Between April 1 and November 1, the speed limit was increased to 80 km/h on some road sections in Kyiv and 70 km/h on some streets in Dnipro, and the cameras recording violations were reconfigured accordingly.

On some sections of roads in Kyiv and Dnipro, the permitted speed of vehicles was increased from April 1 to November 1, and cameras recording violations were reconfigured accordingly, said Oleksiy Biloshytsky, first deputy head of the Patrol Police Department of the National Police of Ukraine, on Monday, UNN reports.

Kyiv

According to a decision of the Kyiv City Council, the list of road sections where vehicle speeds are allowed to reach 80 km/h between April 1 and November 1 has been determined:

- Roman Shukhevych Avenue (from the Northern Bridge to Honore de Balzac Street);

- Naberezhno-Rybalska Street (from Havanskyi Bridge to Elektrykiv Street);

- Naddnipryanske highway;

- Naberezhne Highway (from Poshtova Ploshcha to Naddnipryanske Highway);

- Stolychne Highway (to Akademika Zabolotnoho Street);

- Mykola Bazhana Avenue (from the Southern Bridge Crossing to Kharkivska Square);

- Stepan Bandera Avenue (from Obolonskyi Avenue to the Northern Bridge);

- R-69 highway (from Ozerna Street to the Kyiv city limits).

Biloshytskyi reminded that the speed limit in the capital and on other road sections is 50 km/h.

Dnipro

According to the decision of the executive committee of the Dnipro City Council, the list of street sections where vehicle speeds are allowed is 70 km/h from April 1 to November 1:

- Naberezhna Zavodska Street, except for the following sections: 200 meters on both sides of the intersection with Akademika Pavlova Street; from the exit from the slag dump to the turn to the Kaidatskyi Bridge; 50 meters on both sides of unregulated pedestrian crossings near the intersections with Fatima Gafurova Street (Ice Arena Sports Complex) and Metrobudivska Street;

- Naberezhna Peremohy Street (from Yaruzhna Street to Kosmichna Street);

- Zaporizke Highway (from Shynna Street to Airportivska Street);

- Donetske highway, from the intersection with Berezynska street to the stations 5.45 and 5.46 "Dnipro";

- Solnechna Naberezhna Street, from the intersection with Lyubarskoho Street to the Ust-Samarskyi Bridge (excluding the areas within 50 meters of unregulated pedestrian crossings on both sides);

- Tsentralnyi Bridge;

- Kaidatsky Bridge.

"In places where the speed limit has changed, the autofixation cameras have been reconfigured to the current speed limit," Biloshitsky said.
