Ukraine needs more air defense systems so that children do not have to run for cover from Russian missile attacks.
Ukraine's Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has emphasized the need to strengthen air defense systems amid Russia's attack on Kyiv. According to Shmyhal, Ukraine needs more such weapons so that our children do not run for cover from explosions.

Russia does not stop its missile terror. In the morning, the enemy attacked Kyiv with hypersonic missiles from the occupied Crimea. Our heroic air defense forces repelled the attack. Unfortunately, there are victims of the falling debris, and they are being helped. Rescue services are working. Air defense systems have once again proved their effectiveness in the hands of Ukrainian soldiers. Ukraine needs more of these weapons so that our children do not run for cover from explosions

As a result of the morning rocket attack by Russian troops in Kyiv , the number of victims increased to 7, all in the Pechersk district, two of them hospitalized.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reacted to the Russian missile attack on Kyiv, noting that five people were injured. The president also thanked Ukrainian rescuers who are dealing with the consequences of the Russian attack and emphasized that Ukraine needs more air defense to keep cities safe and save lives.
Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba also reacted to the Russian attack on Kyiv, noting that there is no outrage that Russia would not commit, and emphasized the need to strengthen air defense, including Patriot systems.
