The "Servant of the People" faction will formally submit a motion on Wednesday to appoint Serhiy Koretsky as Prime Minister. The vote in the Verkhovna Rada is expected on Thursday.
The parliamentary faction "Servant of the People" on Wednesday is expected to formally submit a motion to appoint Serhiy Koretsky, who heads the Naftogaz Group, as Prime Minister, with a vote in the Verkhovna Rada expected on Thursday, reported People's Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak on Wednesday on social media, writes UNN.
At 9:30, the faction "Servant of the People" will gather. Without the President, but will formally submit the motion to appoint Koretsky as Prime Minister
According to him, "today all factions and groups have already received an invitation from Serhiy Koretsky to hold a meeting. We are meeting with him at 15:30. This, by the way, is the first of 4 Prime Ministers who himself initiated the consultation procedure," he noted.
"At the same time, the President is holding his meetings on personnel. In particular, his meeting with Mykhailo Fedorov should take place soon, and we will find out the decision on the Ministry of Defense. I already wrote that the list of personnel rotations may be broader than just the government," Zheleznyak indicated.
According to him, today in the Rada "the agenda is still very simple and without personnel."
"In the evening, there will be another faction of Servant of the People, this time with the President. They should announce the list of almost all personnel rotations and appointments there," he added.
"Tomorrow from 10:00, the Rada will begin the appointment of the Prime Minister and ministers (both as a list and separately for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defense)," Zheleznyak reported.
