Russia's record losses in March exceeded 35,000 military personnel and 270 air defense systems - Zelenskyy

Russia's losses this March reached the highest level since the start of the war – already more than 35,000 Russian casualties. In addition, the results in the destruction of Russian air defense systems also significantly increased, namely 274 such systems were hit in March alone. This was announced by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy after a meeting with Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov, UNN reports.

Russian losses this March reached the highest level since the start of the war: thanks to our drone strikes alone, 33,988 Russian servicemen were killed or seriously wounded, and another 1,363 occupiers were eliminated thanks to artillery and other strikes. That is, more than 35,000 Russian losses in a month, and these are clearly confirmed losses: we have video recordings of each such strike in our system.

The Head of State thanked Ukrainian soldiers for their accuracy. He especially noted the soldiers of the SSO "A" of the Security Service of Ukraine, "Madjar's Birds", the special unit of border guards "Phoenix", Lazar's Group and the 95th separate airborne assault brigade - the most effective units in the use of drones.

In addition, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov reported on the results of all units at the front: there are clear and verified reports for each direction and for each category of damage. According to Zelenskyy, Ukraine is ready to provide relevant data to our partners. In fact, the Defense and Security Forces of Ukraine deprived the occupier of the opportunity to dictate the nature of the situation at the front.

It is important that the results in the destruction of Russian air defense systems also significantly increased, namely 274 such systems were hit in March alone. There are also tangible results in the destruction of Russian warehouses and military logistics. The Ministry of Defense, together with the Armed Forces, will present a detailed report for March to the public – data that can be made public.

Also during the meeting, Zelenskyy and Fedorov agreed on a number of tasks for the coming weeks.

In particular, we are preparing decisions to strengthen Ukrainian infantry, the system of contracts in the army and response to AWOL – measures must be such that they really work.
