One local resident was killed and two others were wounded in the Russian shelling in Donetsk region over the past day. This was reported on Saturday by the head of the Donetsk Military District Administration Vadym Filashkin, UNN reports.

On March 22, Russians killed 1 resident of Donetsk region - in Ocheretyne. Another 2 people were injured in the region over the day.

The total number of Russian casualties since February 24, 2022 is 1891 killed and 4730 wounded. These figures do not include casualties in Mariupol and Volnovakha.

On March 21, the Russian military fired 17 times at residential areas in Donetsk region . In particular, they dropped a "UMPB-D30SM" planning bomb on Novohrodivka, killing two local residents and injuring two others.
