Putin signed a law that clarifies the list of articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation that close the possibility of sending to the front. Now excluded from the list are crimes of minor and medium gravity, as well as some military ones.
Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has signed a federal law that clarifies the list of articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, the presence of a criminal record for which or an investigation under which closes the possibility of being sent to the front by signing a contract during mobilization, reports UNN with reference to Russian media.
Details
As Russian media report, the following crimes were excluded from the list of articles:
- crimes of minor and medium gravity;
- certain crimes in the sphere of arms and explosives trafficking, violations of safety rules, as well as some types of military and transport crimes.
At the same time, persons with a criminal record or under investigation for articles on pedophilia, terrorism, high treason, espionage, sabotage, extremism, extortion, and a number of other serious crimes against the state and public safety remain banned from signing a contract.
The law has been published on the website of legal acts and has entered into force.
