The Prince and Princess of Wales have published a Christmas card and will not appear at the traditional dinner at Buckingham Palace. The family is already in Norfolk with their children.
The Prince and Princess of Wales posted their Christmas card on social media today, which features a photo of the couple with their three children in Norfolk, UNN reports.

According to the Daily Mail, the card was published three hours after it became known that the family would not be attending the royal family's traditional pre-Christmas dinner at Buckingham Palace. Prince William and Kate are said to be looking forward to spending time with the royal family as usual at Sandringham Manor for Christmas instead.
The card's image shows William and Kate in Norfolk, where Anmer Hall became a refuge for the princess while she recovered from cancer treatment earlier this year.
The message on social media read: "I wish you all a Merry Christmas," while the words inside the card read, "I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Mail Online understands that the Welsh are already in Norfolk with their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, and have always planned to do so.
It also became clear that William and Kate's absence was in no way related to Prince Andrew's refusal to have lunch amid the Chinese "spy" scandal.
Confirmation from a royal source came around the same time King Charles was spotted arriving at Buckingham Palace for lunch.
