Police conducted up to 60 searches of Military Medical Commission officials – hidden assets worth 200 million UAH discovered

The National Police conducted 60 searches of officials from Military Medical Commissions (VLC) and Medical-Social Expert Commissions (MSEC). The total amount of false information in the officials' declarations reaches 200 million hryvnias.

Law enforcement officers conducted nearly 60 simultaneous searches of representatives of military medical commissions (VLC) and expert teams for assessing the daily functioning of an individual (ETADF, formerly MSEC - Medical and Social Expert Commission). According to preliminary data, the amount of detected false information in the declarations of officials reaches 200 million hryvnias. This was reported by UNN with reference to the National Police of Ukraine.
Details
The searches took place as part of an operation codenamed "Aesculapius." The discrepancies between the assets in the declarations and the actual state range from 2 to 11 million hryvnias.
According to the investigation, the following were seized:
- cars, including a 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE 300D with a market value of over 100 thousand dollars;
- cash in national and foreign currency, medical documents, extracts, and VLC documents of 36 patients;
- various contracts, receipts for cash transfers or payment for goods, with amounts ranging from 600 thousand UAH to over one million hryvnias.
The seized documents may indicate the legalization of funds obtained by illegal means. All these facts will be verified within the framework of criminal proceedings
Law enforcement officers also filed over 230 protocols on administrative offenses related to corruption under Article 172-6 (Violation of financial control requirements) of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses.
