No longer tied to birthdays: Ukraine updates the Health Screening 40+ program

The government has adopted changes to the implementation procedure of the Health Screening 40+ program, making the participation mechanism even more convenient. The updates will take effect after the completion of necessary technical improvements to the Diia app and Portal, UNN reports with reference to the Ministry of Health.

Cancellation of the birthday link

Previously, it was possible to apply for participation in the program only after 30 calendar days had passed from one's birthday. After the implementation of the changes, there will be no need to wait for a specific date: if a person is already 40 years old or older, they will be able to submit an application at a convenient time through the Diia app or arrange the service at a Administrative Services Center (TsNAP).

Period for using funds for Health Screening 40+

After the funds are credited to a special account, the participant will have 2 months to pay for the screening service. If the money is not used, it will automatically return to the state budget.

Important: people who have already received support funds earlier will be able to use them until the end of June this year.
