On the night of August 9, the Russian army attacked Kyiv region with drones, and air defense forces were engaged. No hits to residential or critical infrastructure were reported. The wreckage of the downed drones fell outside of populated areas. This was reported by the head of the RMA Ruslan Kravchenko, UNN reports.

According to Kravchenko, last night the enemy once again attacked Kyiv region with attack drones. The alert was announced three times and lasted more than three hours.
Air defense forces were operating in the region. Enemy targets were shot down. There were no hits to residential or critical infrastructure. There were no civilian casualties. Debris from downed targets was observed falling outside of populated areas
