More than 86,000 Ukrainians have applied for assistance under the eRestoration program, of which more than 65,000 have received payments to repair damaged housing, and 2,402 have already received new housing to replace their destroyed homes.

More than 86 thousand Ukrainians have applied for assistance for current and capital repairs under the eRestoration program. This was stated by the Ministry of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine, UNN reports.

It is noted that the state program of compensation for damaged and destroyed housing has been operating for almost a year. 

More than 65 thousand Ukrainians have been approved for payments under the eRestoration program. During this time, more than 86 thousand Ukrainians have applied for assistance for current and capital repairs. Payments have been confirmed to 52.4 thousand applicants for a total of UAH 5.6 billion

In addition, almost 13 thousand Ukrainians have applied for housing certificates for completely destroyed housing worth a total of UAH 10.1 billion.

And already 2402 applicants have successfully implemented housing certificates, purchasing new housing to replace the destroyed one.

According to the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, the most commonly purchased housing is in Kyiv region and the city of Kyiv, with real estate in Kharkiv, Mykolaiv and Chernihiv regions also in demand. The total cost of the purchased housing is almost UAH 5 billion.

The largest number of applications for the state compensation program - both for damaged and destroyed housing - came from Kharkiv, Kyiv, Donetsk and Mykolaiv regions
