More than 500 Ukrainians who suffered from sexual violence during the war have applied for reparations

538 Ukrainians applied for reparations for sexual violence during the war, including 303 men and 224 women. Most of the applications came from Kherson region - 147 cases.
Already 538 Ukrainians who suffered sexual violence during the war have applied for reparations. The majority of these applications came from men, with a significant number coming from Kherson Oblast.
This was told by the Truth Hounds NGO Olga Opalenko during a briefing, the correspondent of UNN reports.
As for the appeals, there are already 538 of them: 303 men, 224 women, 2 boys and 9 girls. In this case, we are talking about children under the age of 28
According to her, they have already processed and approved 308 appeals: 150 from women, 157 from men, and 1 from a boy. 57 appeals do not meet the project's criteria, as they did not meet the criteria for conflict-related sexual violence.
Another 121 appeals are being processed.
We received the most appeals from Kherson and the region - 147 appeals. The second place is occupied by Donetsk and its region, with 51 appeals. The third place is occupied by Kyiv region - 32 appeals, Kharkiv region - 27, Zaporizhzhia and its region - 18, Luhansk region - 12, Mykolaiv region - 5, Chernihiv region - 8, Crimea - 3, and the territory of the Russian Federation - 2
She added that there were 48 reports of conflict-related sexual violence before the full-scale invasion, and 260 after the full-scale invasion.
