Netflix has released the second season of The Squid Game with Ukrainian dubbing. Song Ki-hoon returns to the arena to save new participants, and the series will get new rules and the possibility of an early end to the game.

Netflix has released the second season of the squid game series with Ukrainian dubbing. In the new episodes, the main character will be Son Ki Hoon, who, after winning the previous games, refuses to move to the United States and returns to the deadly arena. This was reported by UNN with reference to Netflix.

Details

The goal of Song Ki Hoon, a member of 456, is to save the new members. Although he tries to prevent new victims, according to previous trailers, there will be numerous deaths.

Lee Byung-hong (the game's leader), Woo Ha-joon (a young police officer searching for his brother), and Kon Yu (a recruiter of new participants) will once again play important roles in the new season. The plot will continue the story of the first season, but now with new rules of the game and new participants. One of the main innovations will be the ability to vote for the end of the game after each contest, and if the majority of participants agree, they will be able to collect the amount they have accumulated at that time.

In addition, the new games, some of which will be familiar not only to Koreans but also to viewers from all over the world, will add even more tension. One of the teasers has already shown the classic tic-tac-toe game. To add even more intrigue, this time around, there will be younger players, as well as a pregnant woman and a man who unexpectedly meets his own mother at the competition.

The director of the series, Hwang Dong-hyuk, previously admitted that he lost "8-9 teeth" due to stress during the filming of the first season and agreed to work on the second season "just for the money." He also announced the third season, which will be the finale of the story.

The streaming service also released a reality show based on the series, in which 456 real-life participants competed for a $4.56 million prize. The show garnered 20.5 million views in its first week.

But then the participants of the reality show "Squid Game: The Challenge" threatened the co-producer Studio Lambert with a lawsuit . The reason was injuries sustained during filming.

Addendum

The Squid Game was released on Netflix on September 17, 2021.

In the story, more than 400 people in financial distress take part in a dangerous survival game with a top prize of almost $40 million. The participants compete in various children's games, and those who fail to survive die.

This South Korean series has become the most popular in Netflix's history, garnering 111 million views in just 28 days after its premiere.
