More than 500 trucks are waiting at the Polish-Ukrainian border: the least number of trucks are allowed through Yahodyn
Kyiv • UNN
More than 500 trucks are waiting at the Polish-Ukrainian border, with traffic through Yahodyn, Rava-Ruska and Uhryniv suspended due to Polish farmers blocking these checkpoints, while queues of 900 and 800 trucks are waiting at Krakivets and Shehyni checkpoints, respectively.
Three directions - Yahodyn, Rava-Ruska, and Uhryniv - remain blocked at the moment. Over the past 24 hours, zero traffic towards Poland was recorded in the first two directions, reports Andriy Demchenko, spokesman for the State Border Guard Service, during the telethon "United News", UNN reports .
Three directions remain blocked - the Yahodyn, Rava-Ruska and Uhryniv checkpoints. And in fact, what we continue to note is that Polish farmers are not letting trucks traveling from Ukraine to Poland via Yagodyn and Rava-Ruska
According to him, there were attempts to let empty trucks from Ukraine to Poland on these routes, but it did not last long and very few trucks were actually able to pass.
Over the past day, again, we note zero indicators in the direction of Poland in these two directions. In the direction of Ukraine, the lowest number of vehicles crossed the Yagodyn checkpoint, even though it is the largest infrastructure direction that can meet the need for a large number of vehicles to cross the border
He added that the number of crossings over the past day was at the level of 60 trucks. The total queue in these three directions is about 500 trucks waiting to cross the border towards our country.
It should be understood that there are queues in other previously unblocked areas, including the Krakivets checkpoint, where about 900 trucks are waiting to cross to the Ukrainian side as of this morning. And in the direction of the Shehyni checkpoint, there are about 800 trucks in the queue. But traffic in these areas remains quite intense in accordance with the capacity of each of these checkpoints
Recall
Polish farmers have partially unblocked the Hrebenne-Rava-Ruska border crossing, allowing 15 empty trucks to enter Poland daily.
