In Uzhhorod, a lightning strike caused the roof of a residential building on Ispanska Street to catch fire. The blaze was localized over an area of 120 square meters; there were no casualties.
In Uzhhorod, a house near the airport caught fire after a lightning strike. This was reported by journalist Vitaliy Glagola on his Telegram channel, according to UNN.

According to him, the roof of the building caught fire afterwards. Rescuers are currently working at the scene.

As the State Emergency Service (SES) informed UNN, a fire broke out in a residential building on Ispanska Street in Uzhhorod.
9 rescuers and 2 units of equipment are involved in extinguishing the fire. The source of the fire was on the roof of a two-story residential building. At 20:48, the fire was localized over an area of 120 sq.m. Liquidation is currently ongoing. Firefighters continue to work at the scene.
As for the cause, it will be established later. Preliminarily, there are no casualties
