Large-scale charity race to be held in Cherkasy

In September, Cherkasy will host the 3rd stage of the RUN 4 VICTORY quad marathon. The first races have already taken place in Ternopil and Vinnytsia, attracting more than 1,000 participants. The goal is to raise UAH 1.5 million for our defenders.

The event will take place on September 15, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. You can register for participation here. There is a discount for early bird registration until September 1. For combatants, servicemen and war veterans, the race of any distance is free of charge. 

There are distances to choose from, and you can choose your own:

• 200, 400 or 800 meters - for the youngest beginners;
• 2 km - for beginners who are trying their hand at it;
• 5 km - for amateurs looking for new challenges;
• 10 km - for experienced runners who are ready for new challenges;
• 21 km - for experienced runners who want to cover a serious distance.

You can also choose an online course without restrictions and run your kilometers in another location by joining the event on that day.

Important! RUN 4 VICTORY will have an inclusive course with a distance of 2 km.

According to Oleksandr Pakholyuk, director of the MHP-Community Charitable Foundation, such events, especially during a full-scale war, should take into account the needs of all people living in the community. "Inclusive solutions in each of our projects are not only about restoration, but also about changes in consciousness. They help to better understand the needs of veterans and soldiers who have been injured or amputated, as well as people with disabilities not related to the war," emphasized Oleksandr Pakholyuk.

The RUN 4 VICTORY league brings together people of all ages and fitness levels and creates not only motivational sports events for communities, but also supports our defenders. All the funds raised will be donated to local military units and the Cherkasy city's military training center.

The event is co-organized by the international company MHP, the MHP-Hromada Charitable Foundation, the Kharaktern sports community and the MHP Central Hub with the support of the Cherkasy RMA, the regional and city councils.
