Kyiv has become a full-fledged frontline city in terms of air strikes - Musiienko

In terms of airstrikes, Kyiv has become a full-fledged frontline city, which the Russian Federation can reach with missiles from S-400 air defense systems. This was stated in an interview with Radio NV by Oleksandr Musiienko, a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and a military expert, reports UNN.

Details

According to him, the Russian army can launch S-400 missiles from the territory of the Bryansk and Kursk regions, combining such attacks with drone strikes.

We do not yet have effective full-fledged capabilities to more actively and effectively destroy launchers in the territory of the Kursk and Bryansk regions. And in fact, the enemy can pull up its S-400s and launch 3-5-8 missiles 3-4 times a week. And the enemy can conduct 3-4 combined, large-scale shellings per month. That is, use 70-80 missiles during one attack and several hundred UAVs

- said Musiienko.

He emphasized that the peculiarities of the recent attacks included the enemy's use of a wider range of missiles, in particular the S-400.

"These S-400s, as a rule, are equipped with a large number of small elements, shrapnel or fragmentation, to cause as many casualties and losses as possible. That is, Russia uses these missiles more as an outright weapon of terror, genocide against Ukrainians with the aim of demoralization and panic," the expert added.
