Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba called on international partners to urgently provide Ukraine with additional Patriot systems, modern air defense systems, weapons and ammunition to defeat Russia and restore Ukraine's territorial integrity, and ensure stability and security in the Black Sea region.
Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba called on international partners to take extraordinary, bold steps and transfer air defense systems, weapons and ammunition to Ukraine. He said this during the second Black Sea Security Conference of the International Crimean Platform in Sofia, an UNN correspondent reports.
Russia's aggressive war has proven that the security of our region is indivisible. Only the defeat of Russia and the full restoration of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity will bring stability, security and the prospect of strong economic development to the Black Sea region
He noted that Ukraine can achieve such a result with sufficient support.
"To bring this moment closer, we urgently need additional Patriot systems and other modern air defense systems, weapons and ammunition. I take this opportunity to once again call on all our partners to take extraordinary and bold steps. This war cannot and should not be normalized," Kuleba said.
He emphasized that Ukrainian air defense is now protecting not only Ukrainian skies from Russian air terror, but also Moldova, Romania and Poland from the immediate threat of missiles and drones invading their airspace.
"Thus, it makes sense to strengthen Ukraine's air defense as soon as possible, and with it regional and global stability," Kuleba added
