Kalush talks about the disruption of the heating season: children were transferred to distance learning
Kyiv • UNN
In Kalush, the branch of Constanza LLC did not start the heating season for 142 houses and 27 budgetary institutions. Due to low indoor temperatures, 6 lyceums were switched to distance learning.
The Kalush City Council said it had asked Naftogaz of Ukraine to facilitate the supply of preferential gas for heating the city. UNN writes about this with reference to the statement of the city council.
Details
It is reported that on November 4, during a meeting of the city commission on technogenic and ecological safety and emergencies, the issue of disruption of the heating season by a branch of Constanza LLC, which provides heat to about a third of the city, was considered. This includes 142 apartment buildings and 27 public sector institutions, including six schools, five kindergartens, a vocational school-7, a polytechnic college, two clinics, dormitories, etc.
According to the agreement, the heating from the branch was supposed to be delivered to Kalush over the weekend, but it was not. In particular, heat was not supplied to some educational institutions in the city: 6 general secondary education institutions, 5 pre-school education institutions and 1 out-of-school institution.
The worst situation is in lyceums: in some classrooms the temperature is eight degrees. Since six o'clock in the morning, groups of pre-schools have been heated with electric heaters. The average temperature there is 12-15 degrees Celsius. There are reasons to transfer children to distance learning
Therefore, starting from November 4, lyceums #2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10 in Kalush, as well as vocational education institutions, will have to organize the educational process in the distance learning mode.
The Commission decided to contact the supplier to resolve the situation as soon as possible.

Recall
The heating season in Ukraine officially started on November 1. Most regions are already connected to heating, while some regions are waiting for the temperature to drop or are completing repairs.
The State Energy Supervision Service reportedthat the situation with the start of the heating season in some settlements on the frontline territories remains difficult, in particular due to the deteriorating security situation and significant destruction of critical infrastructure in the city of Pokrovsk in Donetsk region and in the village of Slobozhanske in Kharkiv region.
