July 16 declared a day of mourning in Odesa due to the enemy attack on July 15, which killed three people. A maternity hospital was damaged, but everyone was evacuated.

As reported by the head of the Odesa Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak, the Odesa Maternity Hospital No. 5 was damaged as a result of the enemy attack.
At the time of the strike, there were over 80 people here, including 32 pregnant women and women in labor, as well as 22 newborns. Thanks to the professional actions of the medical staff, everyone was evacuated to a shelter in time — no one was injured.
