Due to the intensification of rocket attacks on Kyiv by Russia and the threat of enemy sabotage groups entering the city, the Kyiv Defense Council decided to strengthen security measures, revise the rules for holding mass events and ensure the readiness of civil defense facilities.
Due to the recent enemy missile attacks on Kyiv and the threat of sabotage and reconnaissance groups attempting to enter the city, the Defense Council has adopted a number of decisions. In particular, security measures will be strengthened in the capital and the rules for holding mass events will be revised. This was reported on Thursday by the press service of KCMA, according to UNN.
As noted, the reason for the Defense Council meeting was the latest missile strikes using weapons with the shortest arrival time.
"In addition, the threat of attempts by enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups to enter the city, involving agents of Russian special services and other hostile elements to destabilize the situation in the capital cannot be ruled out," the KCMA said.
The Kyiv Defense Council has made a decision:
1) Urgently consider holding further events in Kyiv that involve large numbers of people.
2) Review regulatory and administrative documents on the life of the capital's citizens regarding public transport, sports, cultural, educational, medical, and entertainment events, as well as in crowded places to ensure the safety of citizens.
3) All law enforcement and military structures of the city of Kyiv, in accordance with their powers, to increase attention to crowded places, to ensure compliance with public safety and order in the capital. Ensure that all necessary measures are taken to ensure the safety of Kyiv citizens, the KCMA said.
4) All responsible structures and balance holders of civil defense facilities should ensure constant access of the population to shelters and readiness of the indestructible points for use.
The KCMA also warned that social media will be monitored separately for the spread of disinformation, provocations and other information aimed at destabilizing the situation in the capital.
Kyiv residents were asked to remain calm and not panic. The KCMA called the decisions taken preventive measures.
