The Bashkana (head) of the ATO Gagauzia, Evgenia Gutsul, was detained in the evening of Tuesday, March 25, at the Chisinau airport. This was reported by TV8.md with reference to the spokeswoman of the National Anti-Corruption Center (NACC) of Moldova, Angela Starinska, UNN informs.

At the same time, MP Marina Tauber, who, as reported, has been outside the country for several months, wrote on Telegram that Evgenia Gutsul was detained by the NACC. According to the post, Gutsul was going to leave the Republic of Moldova and fly to Istanbul, "on business", when she was stopped by officers.
