In the occupied part of Donetsk region, people report the mass closure of schools and kindergartens. Under the guise of "reorganization," the occupation authorities are reducing the network of educational institutions, leaving populated areas without access to education and teachers without jobs. This was reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (CCD), reports UNN.

It is noted that while the official propaganda of the so-called "DPR" reports on the "restoration of certain schools," the digitalization of education, and so on, in practice educational institutions are being closed en masse, "reorganized, or merged." A large number of teachers are consequently losing their jobs, with little chance of finding employment. After all, the main goal of this "reform" is to save money on teachers' salaries.

In addition, because of the occupation authorities' "education reform," many populated areas are being left without schools and kindergartens altogether.

It is currently known that 12 schools and 24 kindergartens have been closed, while another 69 educational institutions are undergoing "reorganization."

"Reorganization" of educational institutions in occupied Donetsk region is yet another example of the russian federation's real policy in the temporarily occupied territories. Publicly declaring its "concern for the people of Donbas," the occupiers are in fact destroying access to education, depriving people of jobs, and effectively condemning entire populated areas to further degradation
