As law enforcement officers preliminarily established, during notification measures, a TCC service vehicle, a SsangYong Rexton, hit a 57-year-old local resident who was trying to prevent the vehicle from leaving the yard. The victim was subsequently taken to the hospital.
In addition, we inform that at the moment the TCC car hit the woman, a service car of the mobile group for combating domestic violence of the Lviv District Police Department No. 2 was nearby. The police were performing an official task – checking the execution of an urgent restraining order by an offender who lives in a neighboring house. Becoming eyewitnesses to the incident, the police caught up with the TCC car, stopped it, identified the driver, and invited him to the territorial police unit to provide an explanation. An official investigation has been launched into this incident.
