Imports from 5 countries and the need for savings: what is happening in the power system
Kyiv • UNN
Ukraine still needs to rationalize electricity consumption throughout the day. Electricity imports from Poland, Slovakia, Romania, Hungary, and Moldova are projected to total almost 17 thousand MWh.
Ukraine still needs to consume electricity rationally during the day, electricity imports from 5 neighboring countries are expected, and power companies have restored electricity supply to more than 80,000 consumers, the Energy Ministry said on Wednesday, UNN reports.
Generation and consumption
As indicated, the enemy continues shelling the energy infrastructure, which leads to damage to substations and power lines, limiting the capabilities of the power system.
Power engineers are promptly carrying out restoration work at the damaged power facilities, taking the necessary measures to stabilize the power system, the Ministry of Energy noted.
"We urge all consumers to consume electricity rationally throughout the day. Sustainable consumption reduces the load on the power grid," the ministry said.
Power supply to consumers
Over the past day, power engineers restored power to 81,994 consumers who were cut off as a result of the hostilities.
Situation at ZNPP
