The French Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the chargé d'affaires of Russia due to cyberattacks carried out by Russia. France condemned these actions as unacceptable and unworthy of a permanent member of the UN Security Council.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France summoned the chargé d'affaires of the Russian embassy due to cyberattacks by the Russian Federation. This was reported by UNN with reference to the press service of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The purpose of this meeting was to most resolutely condemn the malicious cyber activities carried out by Russia in France, in particular those conducted by the 16th Center of the FSB. These actions, also directed against many of our European partners, are unacceptable and unworthy of a permanent member of the UN Security Council
The Russian diplomat was informed that France, together with its partners and within the framework of international law, "remains determined to use all means available to it to anticipate, prevent, and respond to destabilizing actions directed against it."
