Former Deputy Head of the Office of the President Yermak sent into custody with 140 million bail

A HACC judge ordered detention for the former Deputy Head of the Office of the President Yermak or a bail of 140 million UAH. SAPO prosecutors had requested the amount be set at 180 million hryvnias.

The High Anti-Corruption Court has ordered a preventive measure for the former Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, in the form of detention with the possibility of bail set at 140 million UAH, UNN reports.
The investigating judge ruled to partially grant the NABU detective's motion for the application of a preventive measure in the form of detention. To apply to the suspect Andriy Borysovych Yermak... a preventive measure in the form of detention for a period of 60 days from the day of his actual arrest. To set bail for the suspect Andriy Borysovych Yermak... in the amount of 140 million UAH
In the event that bail is posted, a number of obligations will be imposed on him, including "to surrender for storage to the Central Interregional Department of the State Migration Service of Ukraine in the city of Kyiv and Kyiv region his passport, passports for traveling abroad, as well as to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, diplomatic passports of Ukraine, and other documents that grant the right to leave Ukraine and enter Ukraine, if such have not already been surrendered."

The SAPO requested that a preventive measure in the form of detention be chosen for Yermak, with an alternative of 180 million UAH bail.
Yermak is a suspect in a case involving the money laundering of 460 million UAH related to luxury construction near Kyiv.
