Court returns to imposing a measure of restraint on Minister Solsky

The High Anti-Corruption Court has resumed consideration of a preventive measure against Mykola Solsky, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, who is suspected of seizing state land.

After a break announced the day before, the High Anti-Corruption Court returned to considering the choice of a preventive measure against Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Mykola Solsky, who is suspected of seizing state land. This was reported by UNN with reference to the court session.

On April 24 , the HACC failed to impose a measure of restraint on Mykola Solskyi and adjourned the hearing until April 25 at 11:00 a.m.  Solskyi asked the judge to adjourn the trial because he was allegedly summoned to a meeting of the Servant of the People parliamentary faction.

As UNN reported, prosecutors requested that the minister be held in custody with the possibility of bail in the amount of UAH 200 million.

The Verkhovna Rada has registered a resolution to dismiss Mykola Solsky from the post of Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine. 

Recall 

On April 23, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine announced that the former head of the Verkhovna Rada's agriculture committee , the current minister, was caught in the seizure of state land worth UAH 291 million and an attempt to seize land worth another UAH 190 million  

As reported by a source of UNN, it is Mykola Solsky, who currently holds the post of Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
