A powerful earthquake struck Southeast Asia, killing more than 30 people. A skyscraper was destroyed in Thailand, a mosque collapsed in Myanmar, and there are casualties and missing persons.

On Friday, March 28, a strong earthquake became known that affected several countries in Southeast Asia at once - Thailand, Myanmar, Bangladesh and India.

The epicenter of the earthquake was recorded near the city hospital of Myanmar's second largest city, Mandalay.
According to media reports, about three people died in Taungoo, Myanmar, as a result of the partial collapse of a mosque. In the capital of Thailand, Bangkok, the earthquake destroyed a 30-story skyscraper that was under construction.
One person has been reported dead, and the fate of 80 more people is unknown. The Prime Minister of Thailand has declared Bangkok a "disaster area"
The total number of deaths ranges from 20 to 30 people, according to media reports.
