The incident occurred during festive performances in one of Beijing's central parks. The Unitree robot was supposed to dance alongside humans, but due to a malfunction, it began aggressively flailing its limbs and generally behaving erratically.
As a result, the organizers had to subdue the iron "troublemaker": the robot was powered down quite quickly.

In October 2025, the Chinese company Unitree Robotics presented the H2 bionic humanoid robot, standing 180 cm tall and weighing 70 kg. A video demonstration showcased its high agility, fluid movements, and excellent balance.
