Borrell: US allows Ukraine to strike Russia with missiles with a range of up to 300 km

The Biden administration has authorized Ukraine to use weapons with a range of up to 300 kilometers in Russia. The weapons are to be used against Russian and North Korean troops in the Kursk region.
The US administration has authorized Ukraine to strike deep into Russian territory with missiles with a range of up to 300 km. This was stated by the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell, UNN reports.
"The Biden administration has authorized the use of its weapons up to 300 kilometers inside Russian territories. A radius of 300 kilometers is not a lot of distance, it's not a very long distance. (...) We discussed it, of course," Borrell said.

The New York Times reports that US President Joe Biden has authorized Ukraine to use long-range missiles to strike Russian territory.
According to U.S. officials, the weapons are likely to be used initially against Russian and North Korean troops to protect Ukrainian forces in the Kursk region of western Russia.
Le Figaro reported that France and the United Kingdom had authorized Ukraine to launch SCALP/Storm Shadow missiles at Russia.
However, Le Figaro later removed from the article the line that France and the UK had authorized missile attacks on Russia.
Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani statedthat Italy's position on the use of Italian weapons by Ukraine on the territory of the Russian Federation has not changed. It can only be used on the territory of Ukraine.
