The cigarettes were seized and handed over to the Bureau of Economic Security, and reports were drawn up against the offenders. Border guards in Volyn prevented an attempt to smuggle tobacco products across the Ukrainian-Polish border. After detecting three people in a forest, they tried to escape, but in vain. At the scene, border guards found a UAV, components for its launch, 360 packs of tobacco products and a car, which they handed over to the BES detectives
It is noted that the offenders were drawn up under Art. 202 (Violation of the border regime, the regime at checkpoints across the state border of Ukraine or regime rules at entry-exit control points) and Art. 185-10 (Malicious disobedience to a lawful order or demand of a serviceman or employee of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine or a member of a public formation for the protection of public order and the state border) CAO. The investigation is ongoing.
