Bicycle, motorcycle, and horse patrols have resumed operations in Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities. Mobile crews will guard recreation areas and respond more quickly to traffic accidents.
The season for bicycle, motorcycle, and mounted patrols has started in Ukraine. Starting today, such crews are once again patrolling the streets of Kyiv and other cities. This was announced by the First Deputy Chief of the Patrol Police, Oleksiy Biloshytskyi, UNN reports.

According to him, in the capital, patrol officers on motorcycles and horses can be found in parks, squares, on embankments, in recreation areas, and on the city's central streets.
Bicycle patrols have already taken to the roads of Khmelnytskyi, Kryvyi Rih, Lviv, and Zhytomyr
He added that at the end of May, additional bicycle patrol crews will also begin working in Rivne, Odesa, Chernihiv, and Ivano-Frankivsk.
This season, motorcycle patrols will operate in Rivne, Lviv, Chernivtsi, Odesa, Izmail, Mykolaiv, Poltava, Lutsk, Khmelnytskyi, and Vinnytsia.
The mounted patrol will promptly reach any park area where a car cannot pass to help citizens or stop an offense
The patrol police emphasized that motorcycle and bicycle patrols will be the first to respond to traffic accidents with casualties, as their mobility allows them to reach the scene faster and provide first aid.
