An unexploded 50-kilogram warhead from a downed Russian Shahid drone was found in a field in Vinnytsia region, and it poses a danger despite having been shot down.

The wreckage of an enemy drone with an unexploded warhead was found in Tulchyn district of Vinnytsia region, the official telegram channel of the Vinnytsia regional police reported on Saturday, UNN reports.

The remains of the downed Shahed were reportedly found in a field and reported to the police by residents of the area after a UAV attack in the region last Friday.

Police officers examined the crash site and examined the wreckage. According to Valentyn Melnyk, deputy head of the Vinnytsia regional police explosives service, the unexploded warhead of the drone weighed about 50 kg. The wreckage of the drone was scattered within a radius of 200 meters.

Despite the fact that the drone was shot down, the danger from it is no less. Therefore, we ask people not to neglect their personal safety: stay in shelters during the air raid alert, and immediately call 101 and 102 if you find a potentially dangerous object
