As a result of Russia's strike on the railway in Lozova, the railway station was damaged. An investigation is underway to determine what exactly prevented the lives of the people from being saved, amid the fact that shelters had been arranged at the station and an elevated level of danger had been announced in advance, Ukrzaliznytsia reported on Thursday, UNN writes.

"Russia attacked railway infrastructure in the Kharkiv region. As a result of the strike on Lozova station, according to preliminary information, railway workers were killed and injured. The station building, the overhead contact network, and rolling stock were damaged," Ukrzaliznytsia reported.

Train services to and from Lozova station were temporarily suspended, as stated. Passengers currently traveling to Lozova were urged to monitor individual notifications in the app.

"Shelters have been arranged at the station. An elevated level of danger was announced in advance, and an instruction to urgently move to shelters was issued in a timely manner. A detailed investigation into all the circumstances of the tragedy is currently underway to determine what exactly prevented the lives of the people from being saved," Ukrzaliznytsia stated.
