The SBU detained a collaborator in Kyiv who was supplying construction materials to russia for the construction of fortifications in the temporarily occupied southern regions of Ukraine.

The defendant was the owner of several businesses in Berdiansk. After the city was captured, he began to cooperate with the occupiers.

According to the investigation, the collaborator supplied russian companies with sand, crushed stone and cement for the construction of fortifications on the southern front.

During a search of the detainee's apartment in Kyiv, the SBU found documents and other material evidence of criminal activity in favor of russia.

He has been served a notice of suspicion under Part 4 Art. 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (conducting economic activity in cooperation with the aggressor state, illegal authorities established in the temporarily occupied territory, including the occupation administration of the aggressor state). The offender is currently in custody.
